Verification Harness (non-normative)

The harness is a lightweight, non-normative verification surface for quick manual checks.

It is useful for early adopter validation, demos, and troubleshooting, but it does not replace conformance and journey evidence.

What adopters can do with it

• browse published fixtures
• run quick resolver checks from a browser UI
• run an autorun pass for screenshot-based evidence capture

Open the harness

Relationship to normative evidence

Use the harness as a fast confidence check. For release-readiness evidence, use:

• Verification & Proof → Journeys → Tests (proof)
• Verification & Proof → Endpoint Smoke

Reference implementation defaults

Default resolver behavior in this reference implementation:

• on universalmanifest.net, resolver base defaults to https://myum.net
• on local development, resolver base defaults to http://127.0.0.1:8787
