Concepts
Core concepts:
- UMID: the manifest
@id(issuer-minted; v0.1 recommendsurn:uuid:<uuidv4>) - TTL:
issuedAt/expiresAtdefine freshness for use - Unknown-field tolerance: consumers must ignore unknown fields safely
- Shards: small composable sections used for projections
- Pointers: references to canonical data that lives elsewhere
These exist to avoid overbuilding and to keep adoption possible across multiple ecosystems.
